Build the Fire Art Print

Don't worry about where things will end up. Right now keep building the fire.

I am very big on affirmations, and this one is quite personal. I wrote it as a salve for overwhelming anxiety at a time when everything in my life was changing and crumbling at once. Every so often, I’d be spinning out, and my eyes would drift to this message hanging on the wall. And it would truly speak to me—as a reminder that I should stop simply stewing and find a way to channel my energy into something that inspired me. It was the encouragement I needed to take one little step forward at a time. It is so important to understand how to nurture our own sparks, a delicate and steady process.

Hang it in your space as permission to believe in yourself.
