The Female Hero's Journey is to look within.

The idea of a feminine or female creative process is not new, this is my take. This piece is about remembering there is a complimentary way to create--rooted in reflection, compassion, cycles, service, thoughtfulness, renewal, restoration, receptivity. It’s not just about making an impact, it’s also about considering the implications of your impact. Making and describing for the sake and pure pleasure of it. Loving your creations unconditionally, regardless of how they perform. Seeking to consider the bigger picture. And elevating this mode to a place of equal prominence to the predominant masculine mode of creation—outward, linear, viral, strategic, consuming, competing, often violent, and rooted in the idea that conflict is the essential, underlying driver in all stories. Because going inward is so hard that people would rather blow each other up than even try.
